Hand Carved Tree Design Woodworking Mallet

This was a fun project that added some character, dimension, and weight to the mallet. The solid Myrtlewood head was carved with a tree design on one side and curving wiggles on the other. The black walnut handle was carved with a double helix design on both sides and made to ergonomically fit your hand. All the designs were filled with resin epoxy which adds an aesthetic appeal and makes for a sturdy and weighted mallet.The whole piece was sanded and polished smooth and finished with Odie's Oil to protect it.
